New Business Development Executive

Mini Marquees Ltd, the country's leading manufacturer of Promotional Marquees, currently has the above vacancy.

This exciting opportunity is due to continual expansion and the successful candidate will operate within an established team working predominantly with the marketing departments of "blue chip" companies.

The primary role will, initially, be to generate sales leads for the existing sales team from prospects provided by our own marketing department.

The candidate will possess good account management skills with a passion for telephone sales and have a minimum of 12 months proven experience, ideally within a creative environment. The business to business nature of the role focuses on quality of calls, not volume. Originality of approach is vital, as is patience and courtesy in what can often be a "Cold-Calling" exercise.

The role is one that offers excellent career progression opportunities and will lead to completing entire sales from prospect to closure with further development into departmental management for the right person.

The working environment is relaxed making self-motivation essential along with the ability to work without supervision. A good level of literacy and numeracy is required, as is a clear telephone manner. A good command of basic IT is also beneficial.

The salary will be negotiable and based on the qualifications and any experience the applicant may have.
